POSTAL RATES FOR SHIPMENTS OF SAMPLES

Staveley Services Fluids Analysis recognizes the challenges to our customers in keeping up with current postage rates. Recent changes in the United States Postal Service (USPS) shape based pricing will affect the amount of postage necessary to mail your samples to our laboratories. The rates for Parcel Postage are now required when metering or stamping your individual sample mailing containers to ensure sufficient postage for mailing purposes. Currently, the typical postage to mail a single sample is $1.98. If insufficient postage is provided, there is a chance the Post Office will return samples to you. To assist our customers with ensuring the correct postage is applied when mailing samples the USPS Postage Rate Calculator can be accessed through the following link: http://postcalc.usps.gov

If you send multiple samples to any of our laboratories, it is typically more economical to bundle your shipments with the USPS. Customers shipping larger quantities of samples in a single shipment may want to compare shipping rates with other carriers such as United Parcel Service (UPS) or Fed-Ex.

If you have any questions regarding shipment of samples, please feel free to contact your local Staveley laboratory and they will be glad to help.
